Scotland, and carriers, from 2027

Two dates beyond the October 2026 mandate for England and Wales, both from GOV.UK, Digital waste tracking service:

• January 2027 — the service becomes mandatory for receiving site operators in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
• October 2027 — the service becomes mandatory for waste collectors: carriers, brokers and dealers. A public beta for collectors is planned from spring 2027.

That's what the published sources say. Tipslip has no further detail yet on how collector reporting will work, or on a Scotland-specific contact route — we don't hold a sourced phone number for SEPA (Scotland) or NIEA (Northern Ireland) and won't guess one.
