How it works
Four steps get a load from the driver's phone to a customer's inbox: the driver taps, Tipslip submits, the office sees it accepted, and the customer gets the transfer note.
- 01
Driver taps
At the tip, the driver records the load on their phone, including the EWC code, weight, containers and signature, with or without signal.
- 02
Tipslip submits
The receipt is created and queued automatically, then submitted the moment the phone is back online.
- 03
Office sees accepted
Your dashboard shows the status, queued, accepted or needs review, with the Defra waste tracking ID against the job.
- 04
Customer gets the note
The transfer note is generated from the same record and sent to the customer, nobody writes it up twice.
What happens with no signal
The driver app records drop, collect and tip jobs with no signal and syncs automatically once the phone reconnects, well inside the two-working-day deadline Defra sets for reporting a load. [source]
